This project is an intersection of fashion, technology and interaction design.
The design focus on wearable technologies in fashion, visual performance and Chinese traditional wedding ritual and dress.
The aim of the design is to incorporate wearable technology into Chinese traditional wedding dress design to provide a better visual performance of traditional wedding dress.
The idea of this design is combining heartrate sensor with LED to create a responsive wedding dress by with the aid of IOT (Internet of Things) to show the bride’s emotion change during wedding ceremony.
The technologies been used in this project is Arduino. The major electric elements in this project are Arduino mega main board, LED stripe, heart rate sensor, Arduino Lily-pad and Arduino Lily-pad LED.
